We are very proud to announce that, in our first year of trading, Piston Gin was recognised
and awarded at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the most influential
and highly regarded spirits competition in the world.
The competition is judged by a blind tasting process guaranteeing that every entry is assessed fairly
and given equal consideration, with the main emphasis on integrity and impartiality.
The judging panel consists of more than 40 experienced experts, including
esteemed beverage directors and renowned authors.
San Francisco Gold Medal
Oak Aged Dry Gin won Gold for being an exceptional spirit that is near the pinnacle of achievement and sets the high standard for its category.
San Francisco Silver Medal
Silver was awarded to both Piston Distinguished Dry and Douglas Fir Infused Dry Gin for being outstanding, finely crafted spirits that show refinement, finesse, and complexity as well as being amongst the best examples of their categories.
San Francisco Bronze Medal
Piston Strawberry & Hibiscus and Coffee Infused Gin both received Bronze awards for being well-crafted spirits that are commercially sound, modestly attractive, and free from significant flaws; these winners are excellent examples of their categories.
